Twelve commitments, written as design constraints. Where a commitment conflicts with a feature idea or a revenue opportunity, the commitment wins.
I. The numbers are the truth. The story is the story.
Your profile is continuous, never a type label. The archetype makes the pattern memorable - with a match percentage, a runner-up and the full scores always visible underneath. The label can never hide the numbers.
II. We show you our uncertainty.
Every score carries its band, because a number without a margin is hiding something. Close scores are shown as close, never forced into false certainty.
III. No trait is good. No trait is bad.
Every dimension has gifts, costs and context, and every report describes all three. If a personality system makes you feel graded, it has failed.
IV. Free means genuinely useful. Forever.
The free profile is less detailed than the paid one - it is never less true. We will never charge you to see your own basic result.
V. You own your profile. Always.
You see your results first, you decide what is released, and you can export or delete the profile data Personome holds about you from Settings, at any time. Declining is always possible, and declining reveals nothing.
VI. We support decisions. We never make final decisions.
No hire/no-hire scores, no candidate ranking, no personality cutoffs - the platform is built so these cannot be done. The decision always belongs to an accountable human being.
VII. We prove it - we don't ask for faith.
Validation results, disappointing results, limitations and independent reviewer assessments should be published, versioned and permanent. Questions and formulas are protected craft; evidence is not.
VIII. We say "we don't know yet" out loud.
Parts of Personome are validated; parts are hypotheses on their way through studies. Each report says which is which.
IX. You are allowed to change.
Personality is stable enough to be meaningful and alive enough to be interesting. Your profile is a living map, not a verdict from a Tuesday afternoon in your past.
X. We describe. We never diagnose.
Personome describes normal-range personality. It does not diagnose, treat or replace professional advice.
XI. Adults only. No exceptions.
No one under 18 is assessed, anywhere in the product, for any purpose.
XII. Built for the era you actually live in.
Your profile is yours to carry: exportable in a form your AI assistant can genuinely use - with your consent, revocable, on your terms.
